Student wellbeing - In partnership with Howdens

As part of our commitment to opening doors to stress-free student living, we’ve partnered with Howden (formerly Endsleigh) to provide our student customers with FREE 24/7 access to mental, financial and physical wellbeing support, should ever they need it and whenever they need it.​

What support is available?

  • Round-the-clock wellbeing support is provided via Howden for Students to give our student customers access to the following:​ Confidential helpline, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.​
  • Students can make unlimited calls to get support for emotional problems, stress, anxiety, education pressures, relationships, addiction, and more.​
  • Legal information support is available, including immigration, consumer rights, and more.​
  • Full counsellor-led triage, assessment, and case management protocols.​
  • The helpline provider doesn’t separate triage teams, answer machines, or divert calls to overflow centres or abroad.​ UniHomes student customer will always be supported by a person.

How can student customers access the support?

To access these services, student customers click the unique UniHomes customer access link we provide them and register for a new Howden for Students account. They then have access to all these support services immediately.

As part of our partnership with Howden, we’re also able to provide our student customers with an exclusive 20% off studentGuard student contents insurance. This is available after registering for Howden for Students via our unique UniHomes customer access link.
